When at Catalina, the cheapest price for a hotel room is about $90 per night, while the most expensive hotel suite can cost you about $450 per night. The fastest way to get around the island is to use a golf cart, as there are no cars used on Catalina Island (with the exception of service cars). The carts can cost about $83 for a 4 passenger cart or about $123 for a 6 passenger cart.

          For activities, some of the most popular activities on Catalina Island include tours, spas, shows at the theater, and much more. A very popular activity includes the Avalon Scenic Tour, which gives you the perfect introduction to the only city on the island, which can cost $16 for children/seniors or $19 for adults. Next, you can visit The Wrigley Memorial & Botanic Garden to learn more about the man who made Catalina the island it is today and to see the flourishing wildlife for only $3 for children/student admissions or $7 for adult admissions. Or you can simply roam the city of Avalon and explore the various foods, events, and festivities available for little to no cost. Despite the prices, a trip to Catalina Island is worth every penny.
