I, personally, really like Catalina Island. Even though I went when I was really young, I can still remember the majority of it. From the sand castles to winning prizes at the arcade, the whole trip stands at a prominent memory. I took a cruise to the island with my family and when I first saw the island, I was in awe. It was one of the prettiest places I had ever set my eyes on.
When I arrived on the island, it was in the transitional time between the spring and summer, so the weather was warm and had a pleasant breeze and the aura I felt was something I had never felt before: peaceful and relaxed but also excited at the same time. As me and my family were lead to our hotel, I was amazed at how polite and friendly everyone was. I loved going to the arcade and I loved the food that they had served, but most of all, till this day, I crave for the ice cream from Big Olaf’s of Catalina. My only problem during that trip was the amount of people there, but otherwise I can easily say that my time there was pure bliss. I’m quite fond of the memory I created at Catalina Island, and I can’t wait to go back and make much more.
